Hello friends!!

We are long overdue for a coffee chat…

I just don’t know where to start.

First off…I want to apologize for the way that I basically disappeared. Y’all have been so good to me and in your support of this channel and I should never have just walked away without a word. That wasn’t right.

The best explanation I can give is that initially I did plan for it to be a short break, while I fully enjoyed the remainder of my daughters then freshman season of softball. But then God took me through a season I wasn’t prepared for and the emotional and spiritual journey that followed was one that I needed to fully live out off camera. It’s still no excuse, but I was in survival mode. Living day to day. Maybe at some point I will go deeper…but for now just know that everyone is well and this was a season where God needed my full attention. And I gave it to him.

Secondly….as some of you may have noticed over the last few weeks I have been posting YouTube shorts on a daily basis. I am thoroughly enjoying creating them and your response to them has warmed my heart. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the creative process of filming and editing. I do fully intend to return to long form content, probably in September. However, it will not be in a weekly capacity. I want to focus on quality of content over quantity. I love the artistic side of putting the videos together and that takes time and doing that on a weekly basis became difficult for me. My initial thought is possibly two a month.

Lastly…I want to thank you all from the very bottom of my heart for your support…even in my absence. I can’t believe how many of stuck around. 🥹❤️ I have been slowly going through old comments and the love and kindness that you expressed brought me to tears. I have missed you all terribly and am looking forward to reconnecting with each and every one of you.

Hello my sweet friends! I just wanted to hop on to let you know that there won’t be a new video this week after all. I have truly been soaking up these last couple of weeks with my family and have really appreciated getting to be fully present with them. I won’t get this time back with my youngest daughter, and I don’t want to miss a thing. Her team is currently 6-1 this softball season! They are off to a great start!

Thank you all so much for being so kind and supportive while you await a new video. I fully intend to shop for fabric this week to reupholster the dining chairs and might even be able to work on bead board on the fireplace wall in the dining room.

Hello friends! Just stopping by to say that there will be no video today. I’ve been with the family at a two day softball tournament and there just hasn’t been time. I’m hoping to be back next week…with some dining room updates!

Second, we hit a BIG milestone last weekend…and I just have to tell y’all THANK YOU!!! There are now over 10,000 of you who have chosen to be a part of this little community and I am filled with so much gratitude. These last 28 months have been some of the best I’ve had and that is all thanks to y’all and your support.

Guess what?!?!?! There will be a NEW video tomorrow after all!!

Yesterday, I spent the afternoon out thrifting for the first time in months….and y’all I found the BEST stuff!! More than what you see in the thumbnail! It’s so good that I couldn’t wait until the New Year to share it with you. ❤️

My question is…would you like the video to come out earlier in the day, if I can get it done? Or should I stick to the 5 pm CST posting time? Let me know!!!

Good morning friends!! This week I have been a busy bee putting the finishing touches on Christmas decor and filming our home (including a couple spaces I haven’t shared yet!). Happy Saturday my friends!! I hope all of you in the states had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Today is not only my birthday, but it is also the day that the 2nd installment in my 2024 Christmas decorating series will go LIVE!! As you might have already guessed, we will be in the kitchen. I've been working hard on editing all day, and should have it ready to go up at 5:00 pm CST. 🎄

I also wanted you to know, that although I have read each and every one of your sweet comments on last weeks video...but due to our busy Thanksgiving/birthday week (mine and my daughters) schedule I haven't been able to sit down and personally respond just yet. So I will be spending part of today and tomorrow catching up. I can't thank you all enough for being so kind to me each and every week.

Now I'm off to put the finishing touches on the video...so that my family and I can go celebrate the BIG 43!! Because mama doesn't want to cook! 😂
