Certificate renewal shouldn't be able to quietly break your update pipeline. That's the problem Expected Identity OID solves in Advanced Installer 23.9.
Instead of matching Updater certificates against subject fields that change after renewal, you can now validate Microsoft Artifact Signing certificates using the certificate policy OID tied to the verified identity. Updates stay trusted through renewal cycles.
This release also adds durable EKU checking, a built-in RegSvr32 custom action, VMware Workstation 26H1 support in the Repackager, and command line SBOM support, alongside updated .NET and MSIX prerequisites.
