On February 8th, 2026, I was honored with the “Artiste of the Year” award at the NDA Awards in Port Harcourt, competing across 9 states. This victory positions me as one of the leading artistes across Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers at this moment.
My journey with this title didn’t start today. In 2016, I made history by winning “Artiste of the Year” at the Ondo State Music Awards, becoming the first artist to ever receive that honor.
Ten years later, representing Ondo State with three nominations (Artiste of the Year, Music Video Director of the Year and Music Video of the Year) at the NDA Awards, I brought home the biggest award of the night once again “Artiste of the Year”.
My statuettes have safely arrived in Akure, Ondo state from Port Harcourt, and my heart is full of gratitude and pride.
Out of the 9 participating states in Nigeria, I had the privilege of representing Ondo State. I, Oloye Coldman, received three nominations: Artiste of the Year, Music Director of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.
I am honored to have won “Artiste of the Year”, the most prestigious award of the night.
