ABSTRACT
Recently, someone plagiarised @IMPERIALYT's work using AI, and they weren't even particularly subtle about it. The video is still up, gaining views. Almost as much as the original, in fact.
Plagiarism isn't new to YouTube. Obviously. But AI-driven creative theft is currently happening on an industrial scale on this platform. Voices, motion graphics, entire scripts - we're entering a new age of plagiarism.
New technologies that introduce efficiencies while still keeping the heart and soul of human work are great, but what's happening right now only leads us down one path, which I think this video does a very good job of laying out clear as day.
