A channel dedicated to model railroading, specifically N Scale, and the model railroad shows I've been a part of. As time has progressed I've also started to add railfan videos as well.

I thought I'd be able to get this up earlier but editing took longer than I thought. At the train show I was at I was able to run on the Free-moN layout and decided to get the camera car out for it.

If anyone is in the SLC area next weekend there is a train show taking place. This one is unique as its going to be held at Stadler US Inc at their manufacturing facility before they ramp up production of other train units. Feel free to share with anyone that might be interested!

Progress is being made on the printing front and only a few more plates to print. Ive started to work on cleaning up the overhangs, a very tedious process but its a necessary evil. A video will be out in a few weeks about it.

Someone posted this first picture a little while back as something that would be a neat idea for a scene/module. Of course, I agreed but the 1:200 Iowa model is in the $400 price range and a little too much for something that would travel. With that, it went to the back burner but still toyed with the idea. Then I had the thought "I wonder if someone has made a 3D STL file." Well, I couldn't find an Iowa class that I was comfortable buying to print. Since it would be just under 5' long. However I did find a Montana Class the Ohio, I did a little research and found while given the green light they ultimately were never built with the US sticking to other classes of ships. But this model fit the bill of what I was looking for. It had the feel of the Iowa class, was a model that had been printed in filament, was a 1:625 size that I could scale up to 1:200 since I had decided I wanted to keep things under 5' but it would be close enough to not be too noticeable, and came in at a decent price. So I began the planning. I had to do some compression of the pier which means removing the crossovers. I also found a Destoyer model as well that I ended up buying and may use it as well. The Ohio was cut to fit the P1S at the 1:200 scale. As was the Destroyer. And filament bought to print both. I then found the designer of the Ohio put another smaller battleship up and so I'm going back and forth on which ship I want the Destroyer or the 2nd Battleship. The filament ended up getting here faster than I thought and so the printing has begun on the Ohio since I definitely want it. Plywood and other materials will need to wait for a little bit for the next paycheck for the module base. I've decided that it will be a 5' main module with 2 2.5' wing modules to let it line up with the Free-moN standard. I may make a 2nd set of wings to bring it to the club standard I'm in but that will be later. Id been in a slight rut in terms of modeling and this was exactly what I needed to get some spark back. Ill be updating as I go either in video or posts like this.

A couple of weeks ago I was able to go to the Sherman Hill train show in Cheyenne. I didnt plan to buy anything at the show but as I was walking through there was a vendor with some of the unique cars. I took a look at what he had and noticed a pink car. Of course its not everyday there is a pink car. Looked closer and found it was a Cancer Awareness car that I didnt own. Which has now been added to the train.

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to share that the next video is going to be another Canyon Therapy video but I am releasing it out of order as I already had one edited and ready to go. It will be released tomorrow, Sunday, and is from a trip I took a couple of weeks ago. This is a bittersweet video as the views were outstanding thanks to the fall weather and a little snow storm that rolled though. I also went with my Grandpa. Which is the bittersweet part. We didn't know that two weeks after this trip we would be saying our final goodbyes to him. Hence why I wanted to get this one out, as it is my tribute and final farewell to an amazing Man and Grandfather. It's on the longer side but I didn't want to cut anything else from it so hopefully everyone will enjoy! I've also added a few pictures from it as well as a teaser for the video.

Hey Everyone, I've been a bit busy the past few weeks. Three weeks ago I was up in Evanston Wyoming for E24, the big N scale Meet. Then this past week I was at the NMRA National Convention. I've got quite the amount of footage to go through and edit but hopefully it will be worth it. And it explains my slight absence, luckily I had the yard videos I could release 😆 I'm going to try and get comments responded to tomorrow as I know they are there but I'm out of time tonight. Hopefully these pictures will tide everyone over.

Well I didn't realize that I had a few weeks back up of comments to reply to. I've been spending all my free time working on another pair of modules that I needed to have done and ready to go for the train show I've been at this weekend. Since that is done I believe I've responded to all of the comments.

Also the next video that's coming is a cab ride from the train show. Lighting is a little weird but I think it is ok.

Alright, looks like more of the helix/staging build won out. I didn't get a chance to edit anything this week for the release so that will be a Christmas Eve release next week. There is a video coming out its just one I had saved.
