Retro Beat 'em ups
Hey everyone, how are you all doing?
I'm making this post to inform you and to ask for your help.
Here's the information:
I've finished "all" the 3D (belt ecroll) beat 'em up games for the arcade system, which will be posted soon, and I'm missing about 12 2D ( (Single-Plane or Side-Scrolling) games.
However, there are some gaps, and now we're getting to the part where I need your help.
1 - Does the game Lethal Weapon exist for arcades, and is it considered a beat 'em up?
2 - Batman Forever for arcades, I've tested several ROMs and emulators, and the game always becomes extremely slow when starting the fight against the Riddler, to the point of being unplayable. Does anyone have a solution?
3 - Does the game Shuǐhǔ Fēngyún Chuán (Water Margin: Heroes of the Marsh / Shuihuzhuan: Liangshan Yingxiong) from Panda Entertainment from 1997 exist for arcade?
In the list I have, it's shown as being for arcade, DOS, and Mega Drive, but I can't find the arcade version anywhere.
4 - Does the game Metro-Active X - Metro-Star exist for arcade? If so, is it a beat 'em up?
5 - Does anyone know how to make the 2017 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game from Raw Thrills work?
I tried with Tekno Parrot but it gives an invalid or outdated serial number error.
6 - The game Knights of Valour 3 seems unbeatable, so I didn't post it, but it seems there are some things to do within the game that allow its completion.
I didn't find very clear information and didn't understand it very well. Could someone explain?
7 - Update versions of the games Oriental Legend and Knights of Valour, do you think...? Should these be posted?
I didn't post them because I believe they are the same games, with minor differences. I'll list them below:
- Oriental Legend Super: An enhanced and "updated" version of the first game.
- Oriental Legend Super Plus: A revised, rarer version that allows you to play as bosses and freely select stages.
- Knights of Valour Plus: Adds playable characters (such as Zhuge Liang) and items.
- Knights of Valour Superheroes: Adds advanced moves and combos, allowing for faster gameplay.
- Knights of Valour Superheroes Plus: Instantly unlocks the three secret characters from the original version and adds two new exclusive characters, the white Huang Zhong and the red Zhang Fei.
- Knights of Valour 2 - Nine Dragons: The definitive version in the PGM. Adds more paths, new items, damage balancing, and "aaa, aaaa" combos (all characters).
- Knights of Valour 2 - New Legend: The definitive version of the IGS series, expanding the... Nine Dragons with new stages, bosses, hidden routes, and an improved item and RPG progression system.
8 - Are there any other beat 'em up games you know of that haven't been posted?
Thank you all very much.
