My mother taught me early—that I belonged at every table, that I was enough. This year, I’ve arrived at the same season of life she was in when she transitioned—and I feel her with me more than ever.
Now more than ever, it’s important that you double down and show up. People may try and shake what you know to be true about yourself (ain't that cray?! 👀 ). Stand ten toes down. Always be open to feedback but know what you know.
Find the communities, careers, relationships, and places that truly nourish you. You are who you are by design. When I show up aware, sure, and certain—it’s not performance. It’s my comfort zone. It’s in my DNA.
