In 2000, Japanese TV show got sudden boom because a handsome man attract more audience to watch Kamen Rider. It called "Odagiri effect". Since then they make sure to include handsome man more often. Although before Odagiri, Kamen Rider already has handsome men like Tetsuo Kurata. But everyone think the trend was started because Odagiri Joe.
I think this is what Hiba brought to table. Someone so popular that the hater who lose to Hiba's argument thought that everyone only know stuff because Hiba.

So it is weird you suddenly show different translation than what majority of fanbase believe.
