🎷 Our Smooth Jazz Journey 🎷
Smooth jazz has been part of Steve and Marilyn’s life for more than 20 years.
In 1999, Steve Viglione founded The I AM Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring children and adults through positive affirmations. Its signature gift, The I AM! Affirmation Book, was shared with people around the world.
In 2004, Steve met Dr. Marilyn Powers. They fell in love and were married in San Diego in 2005. Together, they dedicated over a decade to service, gifting more than one million books to children and adults worldwide.
During those years, smooth jazz became a soundtrack to their lives.
As active members of the San Diego community, Steve and Marilyn attended many smooth jazz events and festivals. Steve was regularly interviewed by legendary San Diego smooth jazz radio host Jane Asher and was often invited to participate in community events surrounding the annual Smooth Jazz Festival.
It was through this journey that Steve met Craig Chaquico, former lead guitarist of Jefferson Starship, who later became an internationally recognized smooth jazz artist. Their shared passion for music, inspiration, and community created lasting memories that continue to this day.
Fast forward more than 20 years.
Today, Steve and Marilyn bring beautiful smooth jazz experiences from around the world to Dream Central Now. Many viewers are discovering smooth jazz for the very first time through peaceful oceans, tropical beaches, rain-soaked harbors, waterfalls, sunsets, and places of serenity.
