3rd Dhammayatra – Peace Walk
Awakening the Buddha’s Teachings
2nd February to 3rd March 2026
50 Thai Monks and 10 Indian Monks are walking together for peace.

They are doing a one-month Peace Walk covering 400 kilometers, from Siddhartha Buddha Vihara, Kalaburagi to Buddhavanam, Nagarjunasagar.
This Dhammayatra is for spreading the message of Lord Buddha – peace, compassion, equality, and wisdom.

Bhante Pannakara already completed a Dhamma Yatra in India in 2025 with monks. But that time, many people did not give proper media attention and respect to our Buddhist monks.
Now again, this Peace Walk has started from Hyderabad with Thai Buddhist monks and Indian Buddhist monks. This is a strong message of unity and brotherhood.

At the same time, we request our Indian Buddhist monks to focus more on scientific thinking, social equality, and true teachings of Buddha. Buddhism teaches wisdom and rational thinking. We should avoid superstitions and blind practices.
We should also remember our great Buddhist hero, Samrat Ashoka, who spread Buddhism across the world and worked for peace and Dhamma.
We humbly request all Buddhist monks, Upasakas, Bhikkhus, Bhikkhunis, and especially Buddhists from North East India and Asian countries:
Let us remove unnecessary traditions where change is needed.
Let us understand and follow Neo-Buddhism (Navayana Buddhism) given by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar at Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur.
All Buddhists of the world should unite as one family and work together to spread peace, equality, and compassion for all living beings.
Let us walk together for peace.
Let us live Buddha’s teachings in true spirit.
