Decades coming soon! I just uploaded three songs, and I'll try to upload the rest of it as soon as possible. Picture should be better now. Can someone with 4k screen confirm that? Audio was a tricky one. I still hate how those tom drums sound, but when I got those just a tiny bit better, everything else was crap already. This was probably my 30th remaster candidate, and at least for me it sounds better in every aspect now. Volume pumping is almost gone and guitar is bit better for my liking, cymbals are not too loud, vocals have more warmth, and I think Floor's operatic vocals are more defined. There are not huge differences in general, but it's crazy how much it affects on some points.

If you have some content ideas, I would love to hear those. Most of this year's growth potential died because of huge amount of blocked content...which is a bummer. I have to say that I'm finally getting little bit used to this copyright lottery here. Maybe that should be my New Year resolution, that I promise not to whine about blocked content...but on the other hand, who really keeps those resolutions 🤣

Have you listened to this talented young talent lady ‪@PaulaMagh‬ ? I just made a remaster for her, because the original audio had some very piercing frequencies, which I couldn't listen to.

It's been 5 years today! And it is one of the Alex' most viewed videos with 2.1M views, topped only by one band, Metallica (2.3M). It was not the first Nightwish reaction ever, but it was definitely the first very popular one. Do you remember who did the first one? A&P Reacts? Vin and Sori? I'm pretty sure it was someone else, but at least they were before Alex.

This was just an odd coincidence that just a couple of hours ago I started thinking back to Ann Waychoff and our chatting when this reaction scene exploded. (Rest in peace Ann, the mother of Nightwish army and Godmother of Finnish metal). Then I started to watch all these old reactions, and noticed that tomorrow (today) is the 5 year anniversary of this reaction of Mr Hefner.

Through all these years there has been so many awesome reaction channels, but some of them have just disappeared (probably due to copyright strikes), or they make no new content. Unfortunately I can't remember their names, but one of those is ‪@ChaseCarneson‬ Which one do you miss?

Rebecca Vocal Athlete was also one of the first channels checking GLS  It's currently her 3rd most watched video with 3.1M views.
