The world’s largest diesel locomotive ever built has returned to the rails for the first time since being restored by the Railroading Heritage of Midwest America in Silvis, Illinois on the Quad Cities Rocket. Stay tuned later in the week as we cover Union Pacific DDA40X 6936.

Last weekend, we had the opportunity to visit Whiskey River Railroad at Little Amerricka. While the original plan was to make a short video from our trip up there, we didn’t end up with enough footage as we hoped for. Either way, this will not be our last visit to the railroad as we plan to visit again in the near future. Special thanks to the train crew and everyone from Little Amerricka for showing us around. We will be back soon!

SCHEDULE UPDATE!

Hey everyone, we have decided to cancel our upcoming trips to West Chicago, Riverside, Chesterton, and Lake Forest this month due to post production planning. We didn’t want to cancel them at all but after much consideration, we decided this would give us enough time to continue planning our schedule for October since there are already lots that we need to figure out. Plus it would give our crew much needed rest and be prepared for a busy few weeks ahead. Once we get these figured out, we hope to be able to make trips out trackside in September before a busy October. In the meantime, we might be able post alternative videos as we continue our post production planning. We will keep you updated as we can.
