She started her freelancing journey with her first project worth only 800 rupees. Her first project was writing a literature review for a thesis. Today, people charge 10,000 to 20,000 rupees for the same work, but that small 800-rupee project was the first step in her big journey.

At the start, she had no direction. She was a very introverted girl who couldn’t even talk to one person. It was just her and her laptop – actually, before that, not even a laptop.

When she was a kid, she never liked gossip, jewellery, or makeup as girls like. Instead, she loved business talks. She used to sit with her father when he managed accounts. He wrote about cash and credit sales, and she loved calculating the numbers. That’s when she realized she enjoyed doing something different.

In January 2023, she first heard about freelancing through DigiSkills. She joined the freelancing course and learned what freelancing really is. Her teachers, Sir Hisham Sarwar and Sir Irfan Malik, inspired her a lot, so she searched for them on YouTube and learned even more from their videos. She has never met them, but she hopes one day she will.

Later, in mid-2023, she joined the Hope to Skill initiative by Sir Irfan Malik. At that time, she had no laptop. Still, she wanted to learn AI development and coding, even though she is a business student studying BBA.

She didn’t stop. She started writing code snippets in her notebook by hand. She used to practice logic and write code lines on paper, dreaming of the day she would write them on a real laptop.

After a few small projects, she finally earned enough to buy her own laptop and later even her mobile phone from her earnings. She created social media accounts and learned how to sell her services from Sir Hisham. Then she got a direct client from Canada and completed a $1000 milestone.

On Fiverr, her achievements are 80% client retention and 5-star reviews.

Now, the same shy girl who couldn’t talk to anyone is doing AI workshops. Recently, she was invited as a guest speaker at AIESEC (an international organization) and ranked in the top 4% of LinkedIn creators worldwide.

Today, she consults CEOs, founders, and marketing heads to improve their content marketing strategies and helps creators use AI to grow their content.

Her journey started with 800 rupees, but this is just the beginning. There’s a long way to go, and she’s excited for what’s next.
