You previously & continue to state that this matter should not have been taken online, yet it continues to be discussed publicly, including repeated mentions of my name by yourself, and individuals associated with you. As you have blocked all direct communication from myself, this statement is currently my only means of addressing you. It will also be my final comment on the matter, depending on how things proceed.

You have been given significant time and opportunity to resolve this situation since your initial and only payment several months ago. Attempts were made by me to resolve this amicably and privately, including extending an olive branch, after which I was blocked without explanation. This left me with no reasonable way to contact you directly.

Since then, I have refrained from further public comment. I have also chosen to pause legal action during this time, despite ongoing difficulties in communication, including messages sent whilst I remained blocked and unable to respond.

I have remained aware of the negative response towards yourself and the opinion of the local community around you, but I have not contributed to or encouraged any negative narrative. In fact, I have made efforts to remain neutral and, at times, sympathetic of your situation.

However, the continued lack of engagement from you, combined with ongoing public mentions of my name from specific followers of yours, is now becoming unacceptable. This is particularly concerning as the level of provoking behaviour is appearing to be at a level you’re wanting me to take all the action possible against you.

To be clear…
• I have only ever stated factual information.
• I have not made false or defamatory claims.
• I have attempted to provide you with continued help & support regarding issues you have with a manufacturer in china, along with continued business support, even after you failed to stick to the agreed payment plan.
• I have offered you payment extensions, reductions on the amounts owed & involuntarily agreed to pauses of your payment plan.
• We had previously discussed and appeared to resolve this matter privately in January, before you blocked me, unprovoked, days later.
• I put out a statement on February 7th defending you, for your benefit.
• You reinitiated contact last week with a proposed resolution, but again blocked me again before any response could be made.

I remain willing to resolve this matter privately and amicably. I would strongly encourage you to address those publicly involving my name, as this is unnecessarily escalating the situation.

If the current behaviour continues, I will have no option other than to take further action to protect my position. Any such action will be considered reasonable and necessary under the circumstances.

I have known Katie Myers since early 2023. From my perspective, we had a genuine friendship. We spoke daily, spent a lot of time on the phone, and our children were often involved too. Like any real friendship, we shared personal parts of our lives the good, the bad, and the fun — and supported each other emotionally.

I had empathy for her and her situation, as I would for any friend. I helped her through many private matters, which I will not share out of respect for both her and myself. I still have my self-respect, and some things should remain private.

So when did things go wrong?

We collaborated on videos and both supported Brian House as my family does, something very important to us. Our viewers have always supported fundraising in a transparent way donations are sent in, opened on camera, and every penny is accounted for. Names are written, read out, and acknowledged properly.

Things changed when there was a large amount of hate directed towards the Myers family, who we had previously supported and worked alongside. This created a difficult situation, especially as it began to affect Brian House, as well as our integrity and characters through association.

In the middle of that, we used humour as a way to deflect the negativity. Comments were made jokingly for example, about wishlists — but our viewers knew there was no real affiliation and that we did not condone any of what was going on .

Yes, we joke. But we also know our audience. Many of our viewers are vulnerable, and we meet them in real life not just through a screen. That responsibility matters to us.

Katie responded to comments using our names, suggesting we receive gifts. For clarity we have received small items like dog treats, gifts, cards but we have never asked for anything. No wishlists, no requests only ever that a letter of support is more than enough.

Regarding Brian House my parents have also supported through bingo fundraising, where players can choose to donate winnings. Names are written and read out publicly. These are honest, hardworking people. I will let others form their own judgement on that they watch us.

The situation escalated further with reviews being left on a premises with a 5 star hygiene rating. We now have clear proof and direct links to those responsible, along with additional evidence of ongoing issues including being spoken about negatively in our own hometown, where we have lived and worked all our lives.

For clarity I, Lyndsay Turner, am no longer part of Happy Dayz. I stepped away in June due to ill health.

If anyone has an issue — direct it at me, not at my parents or their business. They have worked incredibly hard for what they have built.

My relationship with Katie was personal and not theirs.

I supported her. I helped with merchandise, QR codes, videos, and growing her platform. I stayed in touch with her family, checked in when she was away, and supported where I could. I knew her before there was any real traction online.

And yes I am in contact with her family. Ask yourself why. Do you not think sometimes intervention is needed? I ask you to go back on her platform, back to the real myers family and really look at the content .... it was wholesome enjoyable and fun... what's happened?

Am I a bad person ? When I wouldn't allow the use of her children on hate groups. I defended the use of her (VERMIN guard dog) and his sister whose sadly no longer here....Also and I said I won't allow trolling on a person whose no longer here with us ... I did that nobody else

Can people honestly sit back and say what is happening is right? Something has to give, you can call me a bully a hater... i have thick skin but I also have morals !

Many have voiced there concerns and been blocked or attacked

Because I knew Katie in real life not just through a screen. The ups and downs right now is a concern that's why we are now voicing .

And now, I am blocked just as her family are and my name is being slandered. I only speak the truth and my viewers know this of me ! I have opinions like everyone else and I can see with my eyes open

I also sat back and watched how hermosa, was dragged through the mud ! This is my other friend of 27 years !!

To use a platform to slander names and businesses and make insinuations on the integrity of those is wrong and I will speak out about it

I also called Katie, out on her obvious rage baiting content and was called a hater

And her family member that's spoken out was in contact December sending her money !!

Stop trying to destroy businesses and characters of this town !

Public apology to ALL for all that's been done is needed !! Use your platforms to put things right
