Who is Dr Dan? -- CONTEMPORARY SINGING VOICE SPECIALIST
Daniel (aka Dr Dan) is an award-winning freelance artist and educator, predominantly teaching in his private studio and performing Australia wide. Daniel (him/his) regularly presents for conferences as a Singing Voice Specialist, providing workshops and practical learning activities to contemporary vocalists across Australia and abroad.

During my recent trip to Toronto, Canada, I had the absolute joy of meeting three amazing members of the Voice Essentials online community – Cathy, Amélie, and Frédérick – for the very first time in person!
For years, we’ve shared conversations, music, and encouragement through our screens… but nothing quite compares to sitting across the table, sharing laughs, swapping stories, and soaking in the city lights together.
Moments like these remind me why our community is so special – it’s built on genuine connection, shared passion, and the kind of camaraderie that bridges any distance.

After 8-9 years of collaborating online, I finally had the chance to meet Julia, the incredible creative behind my YouTube thumbnails and the editor of many of my most successful teaching videos.
Julia has been a vital part of Voice Essentials, working from her home in Vienna, Austria. This summer, she visited Australia, and we finally got to meet in person! Sharing a meal together was such a special moment, turning our years of online teamwork into a real-life connection.
