Goodbye, YouTube! I have had a wonderful time here. I started making speedpaints when I was 16, that was 8 years ago! Since then a lot has happened. This channel has almost 600 videos, reached over 100k subscribers, and over 27 Million views!
I remember when I hit 100 subscribers , 500, 25k, and receiving my 100k play button. I’ve loved and read all of your thousands of wonderful comments. I adored your videos trying my art challenges and contests. I’ve printed every fanart. The collabs. The sponsors.
In that time I have changed a lot. I moved across the country. I left highschool and earned my degree. I married the love of my life. Loved ones died. Loved ones gained.
YouTube is a much different place now and it’s not one I feel I fit in anymore. I no longer want to post art trends or spend hours drawing for videos. The spark is gone, and that is ok. Because I have new passions: Crocheting, writing, gardening, and more to come.
Maybe you’ll see me in the future with a new project, maybe you’ll never see me again. Regardless, I thank everyone for creating such a wonderful community that I’ll never forget. Your kindness has helped me greatly in life.
