🎨 Suki’s Portrait vs Reference 🖤
We didn’t have many photos of Suki as an older dog, but I found this gorgeous side profile showing one of her silky black ears. I used AI to fill in some missing details but layered her real face back on top to keep the life in her eyes.
Working with this hybrid reference was the perfect solution—and I’m thrilled with how her portrait turned out!

I share the process of creating a custom portrait of Murphy, a Golden Retriever. The main challenge was the heavy shadow in the reference image, and I decided to lighten it to focus on his face and neck.
