I love supporting Creative Beast Studio! They create some of the most incredible dinosaur action figures currently on the market! And I'll continue to hype up more of their upcoming amazing projects for the long years to come!
I recently received these two pins from the mail earlier today, and both look so incredible! Not only did I wanted to have them for my small growing dinosaur pin collection, but purchasing the two pins also meant in helping @LunarDragonEnt to have enough funds needed to create the second Talon episode. And while these two pins aren't no longer available, you can still help incase views for the pilot episode by clicking the link below. Please give it a watch if you can!
I feel really humbled by this! To anyone reading this post, be sure to check out FilmCore's video on how realistic a T.Rex fight would've been! Here's the link to it: https://youtu.be/TgoTyj-_G6s?si=DScsN...
I recently finished reading this book, and wow, it's such an excellent read!
The prehistoric animals in this were all very thrilling. But the highlight of them all has to go to both deinonychus and utahraptor. It feels so long for me since I last saw any raptor this frightening & menacing, and it's so refreshing in portraying them in a really scary way.
The theme of war in this is also very well executed. It shows how seriously dark it can affect each individual soldier. It reminds me a bit of other Vietnam war films like "Fullmetal Jacket" and "Apocalypse Now", and just like those films, this book doesn't hold back on how extremely brutal the war truly was.
I also like how very human this book can get too. Despite the darkness that consumes many of the characters, it also shows the good inside of them in becoming better people.
Overall, I had a great time reading this book! Love the dinosaurs, has some good character arcs, and is very well action packed too. I'm giving Primitive War a solid 9/10.
