I have now retired BITY Mold Supply. My supply shop is gone, but I have now started Brick In The Yard Productions. My videos will now link to whatever supplier is relevant to the video content, such as BJB Enterprises, Van Aken, Sculpt Nouveau, Etc.. BITY Productions Youtube Channel is my way of sharing my 30+ years of industry experience as both a material supplier as well as a professional mold-maker. BITY is all about information. I designed this channel to be a resource library of sorts for those late nights when you have a crazy casting problem that needs an answer.

Success! I ran a test to see how TC-808 would work in an Alginate mold and it worked great! A while back I did a video on resin issues and used TC-808 for some of the casting examples in that video. I was surprised that the TC-808 was difficult to contaminate with moisture so I decided to see how well it would cast into an alginate mold. Big thanks to @bjbenterprises for sending me the Zip Mizer featured in this video!

Playing with some fast set skin materials and flexible foam. This head has an FP-40 “skin” backed with TC-266 flexible foam. TC-266 is variable density and can be mixed to a 3-5lb density. For this prop I used the lower 3lb density.
