TPOT 20 tickets in Boston sold out within an hour or so. I was really hoping to go, but unfortunately it probably won’t happen.

So luckily the whole YouTube ID situation didn’t end up being as bad as we thought. Unfortunately it was just a victim of new online policies. Now I don’t want to get political, but these policies are clearly not meant to protect children, and I only see them being used for potentially more nefarious activities. But I guess I’ll have to start watching videos on back pains and retirement plans just to be safe.

Now this probably won’t affect anything since i have such an inconsistent upload schedule, but I’m going to be avoiding using YouTube tomorrow (and likely a couple days after) in protest of the new AI age verification policies. I highly encourage everyone else to do the same.

You know, instead of YouTube rolling out a faulty AI system of regulating content to “protect kids,” maybe instead they should focus on the comment bots posting links to illegal material
