Gujranwala TV ( GTV ) was the first community based TV channel in Pakistan started in 1999 by Murtaza Ali Ch. A software engineer , started his career as a software developer and then switch into media to boost his city, and provide a platform to the talent of the city. In 2009 After completion the struggle of 1 decade, channel has been stopped due to political interference although this channel was totally a community based non political channel. Channel perform the best within the limited resource boundary. Said Bhatti , Bashrat Hussain , Fozia Butt, Mudassar , Imran Mughal and other all team members did splendid job.
