02.03.2026. This day is an important day for our Eginam Den kennel. Our first line breeding project, project ALPHA puppies were handed over to CRPF(4 males, 3 females).

Project ALPHA is in collaboration with CRPF. This is the 3rd litter given to CRPF. But why is this very important?

One of the main reasons to work with CRPF (Central Reserve Police forces) is that they train dogs for deployment in various fields within various regiments. The training program and nature of work provided to the dogs is one that is of highest utilisation of mental and physical capabilities. The dogs will be tested to their limits before graduating to work on field.

The feedback that CRPF provides about the puppies we have given is thus very valuable. Based on their feedback for the first two litters provided, we planned a line breeding effort to fixate certain important traits key to success of dogs in the field.

We have mated Vengo x Vaandu. Vengo is Velpaari's half brother and Vaandu is Velpaari's daughter. This is an uncle niece mating with focus on Arudhra who is grandmother to Vaandu and mother to Vengo.

Project Alpha puppies will be field tested at CRPF. We have also retained one female pup Vedha, who will be carefully observed in our kennel.

This is a significant step in Eginam den's breeding program, as we have taken a key first step to fixate much needed working traits into our dogs.

02.03.2026. இந்த நாள் நம் எகினம் டென் நாய் பண்ணைக்கு மிகவும் முக்கியமான நாள். ஏனெனில் நமது பண்ணயின் முதல் வழிவிருத்தி (line breeding) முயற்சி, project A வின் பலனாக வந்த ஈற்று மத்திய ரிசர்வ் படை CRPF இடம் ஒப்படைக்க பட்டது (4 ஆண், 3 பெண் ).

Project ALPHA, CRPF உடன் நம் எகினம் டென் பண்ணை செய்யும் கூட்டுமுயற்சி. இந்த ஈற்று CRPF க்கு நாம் கொடுத்த 3 வது ஈற்று. ஏன் இது முக்கியத்துவம் வாயிந்தது? இதற்கு முன் கொடுத்த ஈற்றுகளை கடுமையாக சோதித்து, மிகவும் சவாலான பணிகளில் பயன்படுத்தி, அவற்றின் செயல்பாடுகளை பாராட்டினர். அதே சமயம் கோம்பை நாய்களின் பணி செய்யும் திறனை மேலும் மேம்படுத்த சில குணம் / தன்மைகள் மேம்பட்டு வேண்டும் என்று நம்மிடம் கருத்து பதிவிட்டனர்.

CRPF உடன் நாம் சேர்ந்து பணியாற்ற முக்கிய காரணம், அவர்கள் நாய்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து பயிற்சி கொடுத்து பலவிதமான பணிகளுக்கு பலத்தரப்பட்ட படைபிரிவுகளுடன் பணியாற்ற நாய்களை தயார் செய்கின்றனர். இந்த பயிற்சிகளும், பணிகளும் நாய்களின் உடல்திறன் மற்றும் மூளை திறனை அவற்றின் எல்லைகளுக்கே சென்று பரிசோத்திக்கின்றன.

இதனாலேயே அவர்களின் feedback மிகவும் முக்கியமானதாகும். அதனால் அவர்கள் ஆலோசனைகளை கருத்தில் கொண்டு, கோம்பை நாய்களில் பணி செவ்வனே செய்ய தேவைப்படும் பண்புகள்/தன்மைகள் நிலை நிறுத்த இந்த வழிவிருத்தி முயற்சியை நாம் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளோம்.

நாம் வெண்கோ x வாண்டு இணை சேர்த்துள்ளோம் project ALPHA வில். வெண்கோ மற்றும் வாண்டு சித்தப்பா மகள் முறை. வெண்கோ வின் தாய் அருத்திரா. வெண்கோவின் ஒரு தாய் வேறு தகப்பனுக்கு பிறந்த சகோதரன் நம் வேள்பாரி. அதனால் அருத்திரா நம் வேள்பாரி மகள் வாண்டுவிற்கு பாட்டி முறை. இந்த வழிவிருத்தி முயற்சி அருத்திராவை மூலமாக கொண்டுள்ள முயற்சி.

Project Alpha குட்டிகள் CRPF ஆல் கள சோதனை செய்யப்படுவார்கள். இந்த ஈற்றில் உள்ள ஒரு பெண் குட்டி வேதாவை நமது பண்ணையில் நாமும் நிறுத்தி ஆழ்ந்து கவனிக்க உள்ளோம்.

இது நம் எகினம் பண்ணை நமது கோம்பை இனப்பெருக்க செயல்பாடுகளில் மிக முக்கியமான படியாகும் ஏனெனில் கோம்பை நாய்கள் சிறப்பாக பணி செய்ய, மேம்பட்டு செயல்பட தேவையான குணம் / தன்மைகளை நிலை நிறுத்த நாம் எடுக்கும் முதல் படி.

உலகின் தலை சிறந்த சொல் செயல் மட்டுமே 💪💪!!

நாய்க்குட்டிகள் மற்றும் அவற்றின் பெற்றோரின் வலுவான, ஆரோக்கியமான, செழிப்பான தோற்றம் நமக்கு,
1. தரமான இன சேர்க்கை,

Strong structured, well nourished, healthy physique of puppies and their parents are visual aids that help us understand

1. Quality of breeding
2. Healthy environment
3. Nutricious diet
4. Excellent maintenance.

So when purchasing a puppy if importance is given to the physical appearence, behaviour of puppies and their parents, one can mostly avoid getting cheated. If one can go in person, check parents, puppies, the kennel environment one can avoid almost 100% chances of getting cheated.

CRPF training school at Tharalu, Bengaluru took puppies from us more than a year back. I am happy to share that one pup from the litter has been inducted into cobra command for bomb detection work. At Eginam Den Kennel, we will continue to strive to improve working ability of kombai while preserving its core traits. Eginam Den (Kalappaikaaran team) is so proud to be playing a miniscule role in national defense.

At this juncture, we at Eginam Den(Kalappaikaaran ) are deeply indebted to our honorable prime minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for spearheading the initiative to add indian native breed dogs into armed forces.

We are also deeply indebted to CRPF school, Tharalu for being passionate about kombai breed. I am personally indebted to Vice principle Suresh Sir, ACP Karthikeyan Sir, for being very patient, passionate and understanding with me when they were choosing the puppies.

சராசரியாக ஒரு வருடம் முன்பு தரலு, பெங்களூரு வில் உள்ள மத்திய reserve காவல் படை நாய்கள் பள்ளி நம்மிடம் இருந்து 3 கோம்பை நாய் குட்டிகள் எடுத்து சென்றனர். அதில் ஒரு ஆண் குட்டி cobra commando சிறப்பு பிரிவில் வெடிகுண்டு கண்டறியும் பிரிவில் பணியாற்றுகிறது என்பதை மகிழ்ச்சியுடனும், பெருமையுடனும் தெரிவித்து கொள்கிறேன். நம்முடைய Eginam Den கோம்பை நாய் பண்ணையில் கோம்பை நாய்களின் வேலை பார்க்கும் திறன்களை மேம்படுத்தும் பணியில் அயராது உழைக்கின்றோம், உழைப்போம். கோம்பை நாய்களின் முக்கிய குணங்கள், தன்மைகள் மாறாமல் நாய்களை மெருகேற்றி செல்வதே நம் Eginam Den (Kalappaikaaran team) பண்ணயின் தலையாய கடமையாக கொண்டுள்ளோம்.

இந்த தருணத்தில் நம் பண்ணை மாண்புமிகு பாரத பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி அவர்களுக்கு பெரிதும் கடமை பட்டுள்ளது. பிரதமர் அவர்களின் முனைப்பான முன்னெடுப்பே இந்திய நாட்டு நாய்களை தேச பாத்துக்காப்பில் பங்கெடுக்க காரணம் 🙏🙏.

தரலு CRPF நாய்கள் பயிற்சி பள்ளிக்கும், குறிப்பாக துணை தலைமை ஆசிரியர் திரு சுரேஷ் அவர்களுக்கும், ACP கார்த்திகேயன் அவர்களுக்கும் மிகவும் கடமை பட்டுள்ளோம். குட்டிகள் எடுக்கும் பொழுது அவர்கள் காட்டிய அக்கறை, ஆர்வம், பொறுமை இவற்றிற்காக பெரிதும் கடமை பட்டுள்ளோம் 🙏🙏

நம்முடைய கோம்பை நாய் இனப்பெருக்க வேலைக்கு அடையாளமாக நாய் பண்ணை பெயர் Kennel Club of India வில் விண்ணப்பிக்கப்பட்டு இன்று அதற்கான அனுமதி சான்றிதழ் கிடைத்தது. நான் தேர்வு செய்த முதல் பெயரே கிடைத்ததில் மட்டற்ற மகிழ்ச்சி.. நான் தேர்வு செய்த பெயர் "Eginam Den". இதன் அர்த்தம் யூகிக்க முடியுமா??

To set an identity for our kombai breeding work, I applied for a kennel name registeration with Kennel Club of India. Today I got the approval certificate. I am very happy that my first name choice got selected. The name I applied for and got is "Eginam Den". Can anybody guess meaning of the name?

Kalappaikaaran's Kombai(Eginam Den Kennel)

Paying homage to a legendary female kombai who is no more. Rowdy one of the most intelligent kombai I have ever seen, a dog with great genetic traits related to health passed away on her 12th year age.

She did not have any health issues or physical difficulties. She passed away naturally. Her progenies have been spread well by Yash Farms. I have her bloodline alive through her Son Sandi and Grandson Vengo.

I still remember the first day I met her at Yash farms, where I went to pickup Sandi for my farm. She returned to the farm after herding 15 plus cows. I was awestruck by her ability to herd the cows and even more surprised to see her energy levels at 7 years age.

After 5 months, I got the chance to have her along with me. I am grateful, feeling blessed to have her along with me during her retirement.

I thank Vijayamurugan KR Sir for having discovered her as a pup abd Jr Kannan of Yash farms for taking care of her and spreading her bloodline for 7 years🙏🙏.

She taught me a lot about kombai through her life. Rowdy your legacy and bloodline will survive through you great offsprings.
May your soul rest in peace🙏🙏
