Hi all,

I hope you are well and would like to wish you a Happy New Year, full of health, love and laughter!

It still feels very surreal for me to write this, but the last two weeks have been the most difficult of my life... My cousin passed away after battling a very aggressive form of cancer.

She was only 40 years old and I am still very shocked and some days in denial about how this could happen. It feels like it is a nightmare I am going to wake up from and then it hits me "it did happen, she is gone".

We all know that this is theoretically possible, but it always feels like "it only happens to others" until it does happen to someone you are close to. And I hoped all along that the treatments she was taking would help or that she would have at least some more time.

Life feels very weird right now, I switch from sadness to numbness and everything feels quite absurd. I try to work on some projects, but they feel meaningless right now. I also do not want to just pretend nothing happened and create videos about language learning. I would like to create some content about her, maybe share some fond memories, talk about her life lessons or something like that. Maybe create awareness about cancer. I do not know...

If you have any ideas, they will be more than welcome.

Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing wonderful! ❤️

2025 has been quite stressful so far due to my job and other things out of my control and I feel like I have not been able to be as present as I would like to be regarding content in general.

The next weeks should be better, but like they say in German "der Mensch plant und Gott lacht" (something like "humans plan and God laughs"). So we will see!! 😅

But I am going to record some content this weekend and I wanted to ask if you have any requests. For my next podcast episode coming out this Wednesday I am going to talk about a famous Catalan book called "La pell freda".

Also, I wanted to ask you what would you like to see as an "anniversary special" of the YouTube channel, as we are getting close to the 5th year mark! How crazy is that?! 🥹🥹🥹I will leave you some ideas here for you to choose, but feel free to add any other ideas in the comment section.
