Hourglass of Exile turns 2 today! This was such a monumental album to see finished for me. Partly because of how long it took overall to write the music, but then to have recorded it with the help of such amazing musicians and have it come out the way that it did is truly humbling and inspiring. Huge thanks still goes out to Christopher Sampson, Matt Graff, Zach Kamins, Mattias IA Eklundh, Miles Izzo, Michael Pilley, Drew Vandewinckel and Jarod Fedele for their contributions to the album. What I was able to accomplish with this album has helped me learn how to better refine my process and I hope to keep that trend going with every release. Thank you again to everyone for continuing to support this album, and I can't wait for you to hear this new material I'm working on.

Thanks for any and all traffic I've gotten on the videos on my channel. I'm hoping to have more content of substance soon, but it's hard when I'm a one man show. I also never really enjoyed the grind of being a "content creator", so I just work on what I want when I want. That's to say that new music is in the works and coming along very nicely. Hi there.

I doubt I'm disappointing anyone by saying this, but I'm going to take a short break from uploading shorts (see what I did there?). Mostly because I realize just how much footage I have from recording drums, and as much as I love all the content with Mr. ‪@MattGraffMusic‬, I recognize that seeing that OVER AND OVER might get a little stale. There's still a ton footage I will post eventually, as Matt and I have been tracking drums for the new tB Project album, and he's been KILLING IT. Can't wait to share some snippets from the new tunes in these shorts.

But I'm going to take a break from uploading shorts also to allow myself to maybe film some more behind-the-scenes stuff that isn't all drum related. Perhaps I'll instead put together a more long form, Vlog style video like I've done in the past, but we'll see what happens.

Also, I'm hoping to maybe start a Patreon soon, so if you have any suggestions or ideas of what you'd like to see on there as far as tiers and perk options go, let me know. I'm clueless on what would be good for something like that.

Also also, there's a chance I might start doing some streams again soon, but it might be more of when I'm recording guitar parts and things of that nature. If and when I decide to stream anything, I will post it here for all 2 of you to read.

Hello. Pardon the lack of any major content lately. Shorts have been going up weekly, but I'd like to maybe do a small update video at some point soon. Moved into a new house and I've been working on setting the studio up, so maybe I'll share some more info on that eventually.

Hoping to get back into the writing of the next album, as well. It's been coming along pretty well and I've got one last song I hope to finish writing before the recording process will begin proper. Some returning faces will be on this new album, and what I've been hearing from these folks is pretty incredible stuff. I can't wait to share more with you all soon.

While I'm unfortunately stuck nursing an issue with one of my fingernails, I realized today that it's Hourglass of Exile's first birthday! I'm really happy with how this album came out, and I'm glad to see folks have still been spinning it since its release. As soon as this darn finger of mine heals, I'm getting back to work at writing the next album, so wish me luck! Thanks to all who have listened and supported Hourglass since its release last year!

Sorry for the lack of any content for a bit, but been cooking up a lot of new stuff. Between writing my next full length album, redesigning my website, and working on some other pieces of content, there's a lot in the tubes. Hopefully stuff folks will be interested in. I'm hoping to have more for you soon. Expect some shorts to be released every week or so in the meantime and I'll be sharing more of some of the other content once I have it figured out.

I'm really bad at keeping things updated on socials. So here's a post I should have made awhile back.

For those who don't know, aside from tB Project, I'm also in an international online band called Biledriver (‪@Biledriverband‬). It's every bit as metal as it sounds, and we actually put out our first album last October. If you want to check it out, here's the link to it:
