さらに、2週間前、海でタチウオに手の静脈を刺される事故に遭いました。出血が止まり、新しいポイントに移動して撮影を再開しようとした瞬間、GoProのポールが折れ、カメラ一式が海に沈んでしまいました。カメラ、マイク受信機、マウントなど、約8万円相当の機材が海の藻屑に……本当にショックでした。

You might not know that creating high-quality, multi-camera fishing videos like these requires immense time and expense. I've made significant personal investments this year—not just in cameras and mics, but in upgrading my PC and editing gear. Editing just one video takes about 15 hours, cutting into time I have with my family, all while working full-time. As a small channel, the cost of producing these high-quality videos far exceeds what the channel currently generates.

To make things worse, two weeks ago, I had a nasty accident: A cutlassfish stabbed a vein in my hand while fishing. The moment the bleeding stopped and I moved to a new spot, the GoPro pole snapped and my camera kit sank into the sea. That was about ¥80,000 worth of equipment—a devastating shock.

Hi! The final checks are done and my new fishing video will be available to watch from tomorrow (Sat.26th) at 7pm(JST). In this video, after going out for yakiniku with my beautiful daughrter, I head off for some fishing by the iconic Jinoshima, a protected wildlife island, for some jigging and japanese fishing teqniques under the baking sun and 100% humidity. Lately, the jig sabikis from the store seem to be getting weaker—and more expensive—so I decided to start making my own. It’s definitely time-consuming, but nothing beats catching fish on your own handmade rigs. There’s just something special about it!

After a string of engine problems that kept me from going fishing, I finally tracked the main issue down to a cracked inlet manifold. I fitted a new one last week and have tested the engine at home three times since. Everything seems to be running smoothly now, so hopefully I’ll be able to take advantage of the good weather this weekend, catch some nice biters, and bring you an action-packed fishing video.

釣りに行けない原因となっていた一連のエンジントラブル、ついに原因はインレットマニホールドのひび割れだと判明しました。先週新品に交換し、その後3回自宅でテストしてみたところ、今のところエンジンは順調に動いています。今週末は天気も良さそうなので、いいアタリが来ることを願って、アクション満載の釣り動画をお届けできたらと思います！
