We’re a family on a mission to simplify, reconnect, and rediscover what truly matters. After realizing that we were disconnected, overstimulated, and burnt out from the hustle of everyday life, we decided to sell everything and move into a 5th wheel to explore life on the road.
Join us as we embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where we’ll share our journey of bonding, healing, and rediscovery. From outdoor activities and hiking to healthy recipes, travel plans, and the ups and downs of living on the road, we’re taking you along for the ride.
Through our videos, we hope to inspire other families to slow down, get outside, and reconnect—with each other, nature, and themselves.
Subscribe and follow our story as we take the road less traveled and find our way back to what really matters.
Where Life Moves Slow
Yesterday was cold and gray all day. I kept yawning and pushing myself to focus, to just get out of bed. It reminded me of how I felt in the PNW. Each cold, drizzly gray morning filled with dread of leaving the comfort of my warm bed. The longing for the warmth of the sun.
I’m so grateful for this Texas chapter. For a 2 hour time difference that allows this precious morning time. For everyday I open the blind to blue sky that fills my heart 💜
Even more grateful to have taken in 4 feral kittens since October. 2 walked right up to us within a week of each other and instantly were home (even with our dog Sam). We enjoyed their tinyness until we found them loving homes. These current 2 stayed with their mom until they were old enough for solid food and wander into the trap. They were trapping and relocating their colony, so we took these 2 in to find them homes. The black one warmed up within 2 days, we are still making progress with the striped one. She does well like this and then is scared and hiding.
It's been an adventurous year. I never would have imagined the year we were about to spend when we bought our 5th wheel this time last year. I am so grateful for the healing and understanding a year of RV life has brought. I felt like I was slowly drowning in my own life. The sun is slowly guiding me back to the surface. Back to breath and life.
