Aug 4 is a really special day to me because it was the day I got married last year.

When God gives you someone, it's so right. Glad I didn't give up, glad God spared me from people I wasn't fit for, and I'm glad God knows both of us and shaped us into a perfect match for each other.

The riches of God's goodness can absolutely be found apart from a romantic relationship, but what a beautiful thing it is to share it with someone you hold so close.

Don't give up, 4 years ago after a pretty nasty breakup I told myself I'd never date again, that I'd never find someone good for me, but GOD has more POWER than my DOUBTS. And He has more power than yours too.

Here's to one year with my beautiful wife 💙🤍🕊

If Jesus Himself said He couldn't do anything without the Father (John 5:19), how much more do we need God in our flawed lives? When God led Israel to the promise land, one of the things He said most was remember everything He has done. Israel's obedience and faith went hand in hand with remembering the great things God has done.
So next time God moves in your life, write it down. Believing God gets harder in our lowest moments, but not if we look at His perfect track record.

Do you understand that knowing Jesus is more valuable than anything? Paul said that everything else is rubbish the more he realizes the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus (Phil 3:8). I'm not saying this to shame you, nor to scare you. But I want to bring awareness that so often we value being seen as a Christian or feeling like a Christian more than the most fundamental thing. Knowing Jesus. So before you try to stop sinning on your own willpower, doing a ministry on your own strength, or do anything on your own accord. Remember this, God cares about knowing you far more than He cares about what you do for Him.

So stop comparing yourself to the most fruitful Christians in your life. I know it is frustrating to not be where they are, but if you focus on the action, you forget about the One where the action comes from. Jesus Christ is the source of all things, He is our strength, and He is everything we will ever need.

So to conclude the question I started this post with, we should all be praying, "Show me the worth of knowing Christ." That God would reveal to us what Paul saw. Because a ministry and any act for God is worthless, if we don't understand the worth of knowing Him. It is my prayer that we all—including myself—grow in this. And it's not a sort of thing you stop growing, Paul said surpassing worth for a reason, more and more each day, may we love Jesus more. Again no shame, no comparison, just growth from real time with God. Keep doing that, and you not only will bear much fruit, but realize that the Vine is who truly mattered all along, and the fruit was nothing but a sweet byproduct. (John 15:5)

New video out for those who haven't seen it yet! I don't think the church talks about this topic nearly enough, and I pray that this video helps, and it is my prayer that Christians are more open about this and their other struggles, humility is where we find freedom, growth, and life in Christ, and vulnerability is where we experience the love of Christ, both by prayer, and through other Christians who we get the privilege to be brothers and sisters in Christ with.

Whatever you've done, I'm certain that His blood is enough.

Don't start with doubts and insecurities about not being Christian enough, start with the blood.

He will take care of the rest, you don't have to hold the weight of feeling saved or not, of feeling Christian enough, and if you have thoughts like these that feel too much to carry know that it's not because you're not good enough to carry them, it's because you we're never meant to.

Let Him sanctify you. Let Him save you. Let Him be perfect. Let Him be your Lord.

Start with the blood. I am certain that His blood is enough.
