Eight Years – Two Journeys, One Unwavering Heart

Eight years ago, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Linguistics from Tianjin, China — closing a chapter of youth filled with passion, challenges, and long days of study in a foreign land. At the time, I thought it was the peak of my academic journey. But life had other plans — surprising, yet deeply meaningful.

Now, eight years later, I am preparing to graduate once again — this time in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCMP) in Canada. It has not been an easy road: starting over, learning a new field in a second language, adjusting to a different education system, and facing moments when giving up seemed tempting. But my belief in the healing power of natural medicine, and my desire to serve the community, kept me moving forward.

I may not be the most talented, but I am someone who never stops trying. Every step has been marked by sweat, tears, and dreams that never faded. From studying language to understand people, to studying medicine to help heal them — I truly believe that every journey walked with heart carries meaning.

If you’re standing at a crossroads, uncertain of your path, remember this: it’s never too late to start again. What matters most is the courage to dream, and the strength to keep going — slowly, perhaps, but never stopping.
