šŸ“–Short History of the Doteli LanguagešŸŽ¼

Doteli is an ancient Khas Prakrit language.spoken in Nepal's Far- West(Achham,Bajura,Bajhang,Baitadi,Doti,Dadeldhura,Darchula,Kailali and Kanchanpur). Its history traces back to the **Katyuri dynasty (8th-11th century)** and flourished under the medieval Doti Kingdom. Though suppressed after Nepal's unification (1789), it survived orally. Recent decades saw revival through literature, media (e.g., Doteli radio, music), and its 2015 constitutional recognition as a **national language**. Today, with ~800,000 speakers, Doteli stands as a living cultural chronicle of the Far-West's identity.
