Then Anthropic responded by increasing Claude Code limits by 50%.
That happened within hours.
And if you zoom out for a second…
This isn’t really about “being generous.”

Anthropic just passed OpenAI in business adoption.
I honestly didn’t expect to see that this soon.
For the last 2 years, OpenAI has basically owned the AI conversation.
But now Claude Code is becoming the default tool for a lot of builders and companies.
And the timing is interesting…
Right after the news dropped:
OpenAI offered free Codex access to companies switching from Claude Code.
Then Claude responded by increasing Claude Code limits by 50%.
This is starting to feel less like “AI tools”…
And more like a full-scale platform war.
A few years ago, the conversations were:

Now?
It’s quickly becoming:
Claude Code vs Codex.
And businesses are paying attention because the amount of leverage these tools give is absurd.
Some teams are getting the output of entire engineering departments for a fraction of the cost.
That’s why this matters.
The companies learning how to use these systems TODAY are going to have a massive advantage over the next few years.
