It is an instrumental. Took me forever to write it and get it prepped it for a release but I’m finally ready to put it out there. Perhaps down the road if time and creativity permits I can add vocals and do an alternate version.
The 'How I Wrote it' writing sessions video will come shortly after.
I am making a "How I Wrote" type video for my upcoming God of War song, how long should it be?
I streamed writing sessions on Twitch, in total about 25-30 hours. I am cutting the footage into something more digestible for YouTube. Not sure HOW much detail I should show.
"Detail" to mean how much of the actual writing process is shown. For example, when writing an orchestra piece would you rather see:
• the ENTIRE process of coming up with something note for note [15 minute section of the video]
• a condensed/cut up version including some ideas I deleted and reworked so you can see the original ideas that got scrapped [5 minute section of the video]
• or JUST a highlight showing the creation of the actual final idea that ended up being in the song but it is also sped up/cut up to save time [30 second section of the video]
Made a full album reaction to the new MIW release but it is currently blocked. Hoping to share this with you in a couple days if all goes well! Solid album!
