In my day job, I tour the country speaking at conferences and writing about the company I work at. But I am also passionate about gadgets. Yesterday I posted a video showcasing Perplexity's 1776. I thought it was fascinating to see how R1 had the information inside it but was restricted. Perplexity brought it to the surface. But it was kinda shocking to see how many comments were about other models i wasn't talking about and that censorship either needs to be eliminated entirely, or that it isn't a big deal...just don't ask.

Recently, YouTube added a feature that seems cool at first. They will automatically translate the transcript to a bunch of languages and even auto dub the videos. Is it any good? I have heard that German is terrible. Are the other languages just as bad?
