About the Artist:
Born in 1982, Mrugen Rathod earned his BFA and MFA in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU, Vadodara. His creative journey weaves research, local community interaction, and ecological storytelling into powerful artistic expressions. 🌿

His major projects like New Archives, Shore (Odisha, 2015), and Ganga Fal (Bangladesh, 2013) have been showcased internationally 🌎. Rathod’s accolades include the GENERATOR Cooperative Art Production Fund (2020) and a nomination for the prestigious COAL Art Award, Paris (2015). 🏆

Currently, he also serves as visiting faculty at Nirma University’s Department of Design 🎓 and collaborates with Transhuman Collectives, Mumbai, blending technology and art.
