What can be the best thing in staunching heat? Chhas aka Butter Milk?

Even better, selling it and earning Rs 200 Crore.

Savitaben Patel was a superwoman who, after losing her husband, instead of giving up, invested her entire life savings.

To open a small dairy shop in Ahmedabad, named Patel Dairy, she started making buttermilk, curd, paneer and sweets which she made and sold herself.

Her son Jatin started selling his own shop from very little. Now people started liking its quality and taste so much that this resulted in more shops opening.

In 2001, they rebranded as Patel Ltd. Jatin was not happy with the name of Chhaswala.

When Jatin took over the business, from there Jatin launched more products and started the franchise model where the number of shops increased from 3 to 20, from 20 to 70 and from 70 to more than 175 shops.

This was the work of a Gujju businessman.

Chai ke saath samose se acha kya ho skta hai?

Samosa bechke 100 crore Rupey kamana!

Nidhi and Shikhar Singh saw that if burgers can have big chains, why can't samosas, which are a go-to snack for us Indians?

But hey, samosas are already available in shops, right?

Yet, the controversy around samosas and hygiene is no small thing.

That's why Samosa Singh brought innovation to samosas by launching a better version.

The Interlocking Samosa uses less oil and stays crispy longer.

In 2016, they opened their first shop in Bengaluru, and man, long lines formed because who could say no to a samosa that costs 20 rupees and offers great taste, quality, and variety?

But to expand the business, they needed money. Instead of waiting to raise funds, they sold their own house just to grow Samosa Singh.

Their vision was simple: to make samosas as popular globally as burgers or pizza while ensuring great taste and quality.

And today, they are a 100 Crore Company!

Can you make a $Billion Company by selling insurance? Well, Varun Dua did it.

Where insurance agents used to wear out their shoes, Acko has issued 900 million policies online.

What's so special about Acko?

Acko began in 2016 and became India's first digital insurance provider.

They realized that for the average person, getting insurance was tough because of lengthy procedures and high costs.

Customers could buy insurance directly from home through an app, without paying extra commissions and at affordable prices.

The reason for the lower pricing was the use of high-quality data which made underwriting easier and costs were lower because there were no middlemen or agents.

Buying insurance was one thing, but the real problem comes when it's time to make a claim. Here too, Acko made a simple process where claims could be settled quickly and directly through the app.

This made people prefer Acko for auto insurance, electronic insurance, and other types of insurance.

And that's how Acko became the king of online insurance.

Vicks has been fooling everyone for years!

In 1875, an American chemist named Lunsford Richardson invented Vicks, which quickly became famous worldwide because it was so effective.

But who can stay away from India?

As soon as Vicks entered India, it started capturing the market here too.

But there was a big problem.

At that time, Indian drug laws posed many challenges for Vicks.

They smartly played it by showcasing themselves as an Ayurvedic product, even though they were initially registered as allopathic medicine.

And they built such a strong network with every wholesaler that they reached every corner of the country.

When it came to marketing, they really made a splash.

They ran emotional marketing campaigns targeting mothers and kids, which immediately became as successful as Maggi.

This is how Vicks became the go-to medicine for colds in every home.

Doodh si safedi toh Nirma se aaegi!

How did Nirma become such an iconic brand that today it makes sales of over Rs 7000 crores?

Back in the 1960s, Karsanbhai Patel noticed that only multinational brands were selling detergents in India, and they were priced so high that middle-class families had to resort to using ash and soapnuts.

In 1969, Karsanbhai laid the foundation for Nirma.

Karsanbhai was a one-man show, handling manufacturing, packaging, and distribution himself.

He even went door-to-door selling his powder to better understand his customers' needs.

Nirma gradually became popular because it was not only good quality but also affordable, priced at just Rs 3.5 per kg compared to other detergents that were over Rs 10 per kg.

But Karsanbhai's life changed when his jingle hit the ears of the public.

From that day till today, Nirma has been brightening clothes.
