Welcome to Rock Solid Passion! I began rockhounding in spring 2024 and I’m still learning every step of the way. Join me as I explore the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas—the Quartz Crystal Capital—hunting for minerals, fossils, Native American artifacts, and the hidden stories buried in this ancient landscape. Out here, every hike is an adventure. I search creeks, ridges, and remote forest trails for clear quartz, rare minerals, relics, and traces of history left by those who came before us. I’m also learning the lapidary arts from scratch—cutting, sanding, and polishing rough stones into something beautiful.
