Hi there! 😊
My name's Alex and I've been passionate about languages for as long as I can remember. πŸ—―οΈ
I share interesting stories and insights about the world's languages and explore ways to make language learning more enjoyable and efficient by drawing from my experience of having learned over a dozen languages and sharing insights I gain in life. πŸ¦‹

I recently attended the Polyglot Conference in Taipei and had the pleasure of interviewing several people there.
I already shared one of those interviews here, and two more will be coming out in the next few weeks! πŸ™‚
We discussed really interesting approaches to language learning, some that I had never heard of myself.

Everybody has to start from zero. After 35 videos and so many hours, today I reached my first big milestone on YouTube: 1000 subscribers!

I want to thank everyone for your support, it means a lot to me!

Here's to much more interesting content! πŸ˜ƒ

Growing an online education business like β€ͺ@LinguaMerse‬ is not easy and it’s unavoidable to stumble many times along the way.

That is why mentorship and exchange with other creators is so important, because the path we’re walking has been walked before by so many other people who are open to share their stories and lessons.

That is why I was I’m so grateful to have participated in a Business Retreat in Taiwan for language educators last week. I want to thank Anja Spilker, Hyunwoo Sun and Richard Simcott for organising such a well-designed programme that encouraged sharing, learning and growing, and I want to thank all the participants for their help and openness.

What a great experience and great people! πŸ™‚

I'm boarding for Taiwan πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό and will stay there for 3 months!
Hopefully my Chinese will have improved by the time I return. 😁

Among my regular videos I'll make a few about my studies there and share my progress.

With lots of things going on in our lives, time to learn languages often falls to the back. πŸ—“οΈ
With unexpected things happening in my life (my last grandparent passed away 😒) and family obligations coming up, how can we still find the time to study?

I explore that in my latest video! πŸ™‚πŸ‘‡
