👋 Hey, Dreamers..
Just announcing in case you didn't see, Spirit Guide and The Merchant are now on streaming platforms!

We have heard a lot of feedback from you all that you'd like songs to come to streaming more regularly, rather than waiting for an entire album (which takes many months). We will begin to set up more streamlined dates for new songs to release as singles within a week or two after the Youtube release from now on.

Some songs are in the process of getting their release so stay tuned for Shadowkind and Angel of Fire.
Under The Mountain will be on streaming 10/13.

All new releases (including early releases) will now be available permanently as high quality MP3 downloads for our "God of Dreams" Patrons on Patreon.
But you can also purchase tracks over on our Bandcamp if Patreon isn't your thing and you want a copy of any MP3 for that better sound quality.

After feedback and some kind emails, we have begun our journey on Patreon for those wanting more Azophiel content and access. Please keep in mind, we will not be restricting any video content on or from our Youtube, you will always have a free space here to listen to our completed music. I never want to cut off anyone from that access - I appreciate you all!

Also, note, commissions are not currently open YET. But will be in the near future as we get things prepared and our Patreon gets its footing!

In the meantime, our $5 tier patrons can get access to everything, including MP3's of recent songs that aren't released on streaming yet (Spirit Guide and The Wendigo). We have plans to even add full access to older albums in the future. Here we are again at another milestone!
✨Thank you all for 20k subscribers!✨

I will be a bit late this month with new content, as I am having some other things going on in my schedule, as well as a bit of writer's block. I do have some songs in a half-way state, but have not been happy enough with them.

🔹Some upcoming projects:

I am still working on the ACOTAR song, but have not yet got it the way I want it. It has been pushed back until I do.

I am working on writing a tribute song to Aaravos from The Dragon Prince. But it is still very rough draft. TBA.

Working on new uploads for the second channel, as well as some new Elvish and Light Language songs for the main channel.


🔹Some thoughts I'd like feedback from all of you on:

A Patreon or Youtube membership has been a consideration for several features, and I don't know if any are interested in this being available.
I never want to paywall any of my videos, but I do have times I will finish working on something outside of prime upload hours, late evenings, and could pre-release early for members before it goes public the following day on Youtube.

Patrons on Patreon could also open opportunities for commission request posts, and votes on polls that choose the next song topic/idea I will work on. (Youtube members could also open the way for polled song requests/commission posts).
On Patreon, we could also provide gallery access to BG artwork used in videos, as I know many people ask for copies of the art. We also have lots of art that didn't make the final cut. Alternate art I almost used but went a different route.

I also have considered posting WIPs or abandoned WIP song tracks on Patreon that the community could vote to see completed. I even have alternate versions of songs you never have heard that could be shared. Sometimes I get too in my head and just abandon a project because I don't feel it is good enough.

Patreon posts offering guidance on lyric writing, world building, or prompting for Suno would also be a consideration.

Another perk we would implement is that newly released videos would have free MP3's available for download for Patrons very soon after its release (This would always be for a limited time, once the track goes live on streaming/bandcamp, it will no longer be available free on Patreon). I know many people eagerly wait months for an album to be finished before a song hits stores, so for instance, the song Spirit Guide would be available now as an MP3 on Patreon.

Let me know if this sounds like something any of you are interested in having access to, it will take some time to prepare and set up, and I want to know if it is even something my community would like.

SOME UPDATES AND LORE:

Very excited for our next song! Our next album is getting closer to being finished. I know many of you are eager for releases on streaming. We have a few more songs coming for the album, so it will likely be in August or late July when the album: The Book of Angels, is out on streaming.

Our next song is going to dive a bit further into the universe you already caught a glimpse of in the song "Stay". Full with lyrics this time, unlike "Watcher".
For those wanting more lore, I was going to share about the universe I have been building. For those who'd rather keep their own interpretations of the song - I definitely don't want to hinder your creative view - so feel free to skip. I want to always keep my songs, for the most part, easily adaptable to many narratives lyrically. You do not need to read anything below in order to understand the songs, but it does add new nuance. But for those wanting a lore dump, if you like angelic warfare and dark endings, please read further!

.:LORE DUMP:.

We come into this story knowing that the ranks of seraphs all exist in ten factions, or spheres, called Sefirot (or Sefira for plural), all of which are typically defined by a unique color, power, and purpose.

Our next song follows the thoughts and questions of a seraph from the Crimson Sefirot (as pictured). Also known as the Sefirot: Gevurah* (Strength). These seraphs are tasked with the destruction of worlds and the destruction of traitors.

A corruption is spreading through all the Sefira, causing the seraphs within them to transform into "Qliphoth*" states - abyssal shadow forms. This corruption causes civil war, and the Crimson Sefirot are tasked with casting judgement and the destruction of their own blasphemous kin.
However, we see many seraphs begin to question their morality as they destroy their brethren. But these "What if's" and questions become grounds for corruption too.. (But what if.. the abyss is freedom from a broken system that lacks free-will?) In the picture attached, we can see dark abyssal shadows beginning to form around our Crimson Seraph.

Some notes on the videos "Stay" and "Watcher": ("Watcher" was the name chosen as a nod to the fallen angels The Watchers, and as a double meaning for his obsessive observance of his "love" interest). Our fellow dark seraph in these videos is in Qliphoth form, a shadow form, surrounded in lots of blue ambience in his domain. Inferring he may have once belonged to the Sapphire Sefirot: Chokhmah* (Wisdom). However, in his Qliphoth form, he seems to have lost his innate wisdom, and has taken to obsession instead, imprisoning a Levanah* Seraph from the Sefirot: Keter* (Crown). The Levanah Seraphs are from the highest order, known for their constant radiation of peace and love by just being in their presence.

We do not know his motives in the song. Does he know this seraph previously before falling? Chokhmah did emanate from Keter - they are very connected. Or is he trying to fill a loveless void with one of the most loving beings? A love that would be fleeting should she join him, as the abyss would then take her too.. or is that his desire? I am not going to give concise answers, as I would rather you all build your conclusions.

There are no real winners. The enlightened fight their brothers to maintain a lawful order that in itself is like a shackle, while the abyssals become shells of their former selves, losing themselves to the dark madness of the Qliphoth within their freedom. This next song I feel reflects this perfectly.

We hope this next song captures lots of creative ideas based on the background shared, we do have possible plans to write more songs into this universe.

This story is not fully fleshed out, nor available to read, it is something made just for the musical journey. The story was obviously heavily inspired by the Kabbalah, Angels, and Tree of Life, with my own creative spin. Words for certain factions/Sefirot are Hebrew and are elaborated below.

I'd like some of this story to remain ambiguous, so that you all can theorize and headcanon things the way you please as you listen to the music.
The next song even as a stand alone piece, I feel lyrically, could be applied to many fantasy stories or headcanons outside this narrative I've made. Which I always strive to maintain. I don't like to restrict a song too much to one original narrative. But several comments had wanted more story. I love seeing so many of you share how a song is perfect for a story or original character, and want to keep that theme for the most part.

GLOSSARY:

*Gevurah - Means strength, power, or might. In the Kabbalah, it is the sefirot in the Tree of Life associated with divine judgement or destruction

*Qliphoth - Meaning Shell or Husk (AKA the Tree of Death, the corrupted reflection of the Tree of Life)

*Levanah - Hebrew for both Moon and White (The white light of the moon). Storywise, the Levanahs are one of three groups that reside within Keter. The only Sefirot that has three factions in one.

*Chokhmah - Means wisdom, the second sefirot in the Tree of Life after Keter. Defining the initial creation of conscious intelligence. Storywise, this sphere is also known as the Sapphire Sefirot, its seraphs reflecting this in their coloring.

*Keter - Means Crown. The top and first sphere within the Tree of Life. Keter is the focal point of all creation and divine will of Ein Sof (AKA God). Storywise, a trinity is organized within Keter. One being the Levanah seraphs. The other two are left unknown at this time.

Come join us on a new journey into distant realms! We are starting a second channel dedicated to long 1+ hour soundscape, ambience, ethereal fantasy, and cinematic instrumentals.

Epic music with lyrics or choir, like my most recent upload "The Call", will continue to be uploaded to the main channel. However, we might visit some epic genres in the second channel too in longer formats. Our second channel is focused on only these instrumental style genres.

We love this type of music, and wish to pursue a separate space dedicated to the genre. I don't want to bombard viewers here with this style of music when it isn't what many of you are looking forward to seeing in your feed. But for those that do want to follow us for this genre - please visit the link above! We are just beginning, but do have new videos out now!

The main channel here will continue as normal with the same types of music I always post, but most instrumentals (aside from some epic) will be on the second channel from now on.
