I served as a Christian Pastor for 6 yrs and almost 8 yrs to the present outside of it. I realized one of the most overlooked stronghold among African Americans or Negroes is the lack of identity. I was raised with understanding that I am a blood descendant of Israel, but was told it wasn't important in the Church I was raised in. In my sixth of ministry I had an encounter with a white Pastor who said he was born in Africa and he is an American citizen which means, "I am an African American."
From that point on I analyze the current issues with my community only to realize we are suffering from an identity crisis. We're the only group of people who cannot accurately identify ourselves in the Bible due to the layers of deceptive doctrine of those who have appointed themselves gatekeeper of the Holy word. My Damascus road experience began as I was preparing a sermon on John 8. The quote that completely grabbed my attention, "we know we are Abraham seed and never knew bondage."

It's funny how selective our people are with making posts of Farrakhan correcting Rev. Jesse Jackson in an attempt to throw shade at him. Farrakhan is the same person along with the Nation of Islam who contributed to the assassination of Malcolm X.
Address Farrakhan's words on December 1964, just two months before the assassination, Farrakhan wrote in the NOI newspaper Muhammad Speaks that "such a man as Malcolm is worthy of death".
Let's see if these facts get posted. It's always our people doing too much. I don't agree with the politics of the late Rev Jesse Jackson, but I will not be silent on the disrespectful rhetoric people within our community are engaging in.
Leviticus 19:16 KJV
[16] Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people; neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor: I am YAHAWAH.

Christ beat the moneychangers. According to that's ,"Old Testament" logic, they would've told Christ to love His enemies, pray for them and ask for them to be delivered.
John 2:14-15 KJV
[14] and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: [15] and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
BIBLICAL HERMENUTICS
Nehemiah 13:20-21 KJV
[20] So the merchants and sellers of all kind of ware lodged without Jerusalem once or twice. [21] Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I WILL LAY HANDS ON YOU. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.
They would've told Christ to live and pray for the thieves as He instructed His disciples to arm themselves.
Luke 22:36 KJV
[36] Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that HATH NO SWORD, let him sell his garment, and BUY ONE.
It's amazing how responses like this reflects the layers of delusional theology that promotes "Stockholm Syndrome."
