Dan Owen was born on May 11, 1992 in theEnglish small town Shrewsbury, northwest of Birmingham. Already as a child, he learned to play the guitar and later earned himself the nickname “Blues Boy Dan” withtheblues repertoire he used to perform at pubs and clubs. When he finally began writing his own songs, various different types of music flowed into his self-written works: rock, reggae, and pop. Dan has played support slots for superstars like Birdy, Kaleo, Bryan Adams and Alice Merton. In August 2018, he autonomously released his debut album “Stay Awake With Me”, which has since been streamed 60 million times.
