Molly & Newt Update 🩵

They were moved out of their pen in our yard and into the pasture across the road from us on Tuesday. They came up to the corner to say hello! They’re definitely enjoying being out, having space and being able to graze. Newt was 1 month on the 7th, and he’s definitely ornery! But he’s too cute!

Day 2. Another 3 miles.

I am using every mile walked as a mile towards my micropayment series on TT. Moving my body and moving the needle financially at the same time.

This is not about perfection. It is about showing up again today even when it would be easier not to.

This morning I was reminded how much of life is perspective.

I didn’t have to go for a walk today.
I got to.

I got to wake up in a body that’s still fighting for me.

I got to step outside, breathe in cold air, feel the sun break over the hills and warm my back.

I got to move, not because everything in life is perfect, but because even in the middle of the hard… there’s still good to be found.

It’s easy to get stuck in the “have tos.”
Have to clean.
Have to cook.
Have to work.
Have to keep going.

But when I slow down and actually look around… I realize I get to.
I get to be here.
I get to love these people.
I get to wake up and try again.
I get to build a life I’m proud of, even if it’s one quiet morning at a time.

Finding the good doesn’t mean everything is easy.

It just means I’m choosing to see what’s still worth being grateful for.

Sometimes we get so caught up in chasing what’s next that we forget how far we’ve already come.

It’s not about having it all figured out. It’s about appreciating the now while still believing in what’s ahead.

Sometimes the storms in life feel endless. Unexpected changes, tough seasons, setbacks we never planned for. But the truth is, there is always something to be grateful for even in the middle of it all.

I am learning to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the life I am living right now because no matter how hard the storm feels there is still beauty in the in between.

The sun still rises.
The journey still continues.
And there is always good to be found even on the toughest days.
