One positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.
Over the summer, I stayed with my in-laws in their RV 10 hours from my family to help my husband get our RV (our home), our truck , purchase a solar AC system and get other debts paid off. It wasn’t smooth sailing but we we made it work.
At the end of 11 weeks, I was suddenly laid off. But together, we did get the truck paid off!
While, the layoff was unfortunate, we are not done reaching for those goals. It took a while, but we did get our solar AC system. One way or another, we are going to make the rest of the goals happen! Now to get our debt paid off including our RV!

We bought this RV quick… and in a hurry on January 1, 2022.
Just days after losing everything in a fire on December 23, 2021.
And if I’m being honest… I despised her at first.
All that dark… and everything she represented.
But about a month in, something shifted.
I picked up a paintbrush, ripped out the dark trim, brought in lighter, natural wood… and slowly made her feel like us.
Over the last 4+ years, she’s carried us through a lot.
She’s been lived in, that’s for sure.
Recently our convection microwave gave out… and replacing it was going to cost up to $900.
So instead… I chose to make the kitchen new again for about $120.
And now?
It’s bright.
It’s homey.
And I love it.
Funny how something you once resented… can become something you’re so grateful for. 🤍

We’re officially installing our solar AC system 🙌
This was the next goal I had lined up…
before the layoff back in September.
And for a minute, I won’t lie, it felt like everything got pushed further away.
But here we are.
Still building.
Still moving forward.
Got my walk in ✔️
Coffee ✔️
Watching something we prayed for come together.
Proof that a setback doesn’t cancel the plan… it just reroutes it.

My YT family:
You all are truly my most supportive community and I thank you guys for sticking here with me even when I wasn’t showing up.
You all know I set goals. Get the truck paid off and we did that together.
Then I didn’t know how I was going to make this next one happen especially with all the ups and downs and things going on here on the home front. But the second thing…the solar AC system is currently in my yard.
We will be spending this weekend getting her installed and I just hope and pray it’s the answer we were looking for. 🩵

Molly & Newt Update 🩵
They were moved out of their pen in our yard and into the pasture across the road from us on Tuesday. They came up to the corner to say hello! They’re definitely enjoying being out, having space and being able to graze. Newt was 1 month on the 7th, and he’s definitely ornery! But he’s too cute!
