My dad was praying at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem in Navajo. One of the local people there asked him, "What language are you praying in? I've heard prayers in different languages but I've never heard your language spoken. What language is it?" My dad told him it was the Navajo language.

I was honored to be asked to be a Navajo Language Spelling Bee judge tonight at Piedra Vista High School for the 15th Annual FMS District 2025 Diné Spelling Bee!
