A new drawing alert! 💚🐈⬛ It’s been such a long time since the last time I drew a cat. What’s unusual this time is that I went with green instead of my usual reds. I was actually reaching for my regular colours before I started colouring, but I had this vision in my mind, that this piece needed to be green. So I followed that instinct, and I’m really glad I did 💚 It felt refreshing to dive back into this colour; green used to be my favourite, and for years it was the main tone in my drawings, until red slowly took over. Returning to green felt grounding and peaceful, like reconnecting with an old part of myself 💚 I used acrylic markers, fineliners, coloured pencils and gel pens for this drawing.

A new sketchbook drawing 🖤 It started as a simple pencil sketch that I drew intuitively, with no idea in mind, and here’s how it turned out once I inked it with fineliners. Lately, I’ve been really enjoying the freedom of just drawing or doodling whatever nonsense comes to mind. I do have some more “serious” drawings to finish, but right now, I really need that sense of creative freedom, to draw whatever I feel in the moment.

Here is the latest mandala I’ve just finished. I drew it on A3 paper using fine-liners, markers, and coloured pencils. My idea was to design each segment differently, working on only one at a time, which is my favourite way to create mandalas, rather than following the 'traditional' approach 💖🌈✏️
