We're glad to see Rami digging into #Dot3D for some larger scale iPhone #LiDAR scanning. This video covers the full processes of:





1. Scanning an entire large condo inside and out

2. Optimizing with the assistance of an extensive, accurate survey control target file (tied into geo-coordinates obtained outdoors)

3. Analyzing the resulting accuracy compared to control (1/100 ft!)

4. Working with Dot3D Edit for convenient desktop scan editing

5. Merging Dot3D data with drone data tied into the same control

This new 1-week forensic course from the TSC Criminal Justice Institute includes extensive classroom training on Dot3D as well as various practical excercise in simulated crime and crash scene environments, indoors and out.
