I’ve been running all my life—
chasing timelines, ticking boxes,
moving fast because that’s what I was taught:
move forward, don’t stop,
you’re almost there.

And now that I’m here,
so close to what I thought I wanted,
I feel… lost.
Like I took a wrong turn somewhere
but kept going
because turning back felt worse
than being unsure.

My life has always had a map.
Clear roads, clear goals.
But suddenly, the signs are in a language I don’t understand,
and the silence feels heavier than noise.

It’s not that I don’t want it—
I do.
The dream is still there,
burning like it always has.
But I don’t know if I’m ready
to live it.

It scares me—
not the dream itself,
but what it asks of me.
Who I have to become to meet it.

Still, I’ll hold on.
Even if my hands shake.
Even if I don’t have all the answers.
Because maybe
holding on, even loosely,
is enough for now.
