Are you stretching your purchases to make the most out of each package? Take this chicken from Walmart. Currently $12.18 on sale.
If you take the time to portion them out you can get this:
- 2 bags diced chicken (about a cup in each bag which is perfect for throwing in alfredo or a bag of knorr rice/pasta)
- 1 bag of 25 count chicken tenders/strips (I makes my own with crushed stuffing mix or breadcrumbs and just 2 eggs)
- 2 bags of thin chicken breast about 6. ( I like to air friy or just pan fry and season)
So that is 5 meals out of 1 pack of chicken! And we usually have leftovers!
