Perspective Fundamentals is out!
Grab it here: theartofnemo.gumroad.com/l/perspective-fundamental…
Or here for the full (heavily discounted) bundle: theartofnemo.gumroad.com/l/fundamentals-bundle

This is the longest yet, almost 8 freaking hours. Needless to say... it took me a long time to make it all. And, HA! All human made, no AI involved at any point of the process. Sad how one needs to specify it now.

LESSONS INCLUDED:

-Perspective theory (1,2,3 points, what are they?)
-Constructing grids
-Maintaining proportions in space
-Box rotation theory (builds upon part 2)
-Gauging Proportions from reference
-Bounding Boxes
-Complex body forms
-Curves and complex curved surfaces
-Hinge rotations(fundamental to draw arms later)
-Putting it all together in a scene

BONUS:
-Sketching perspective
-Linework for hard surface

Plus, a 38-page workbook with notes and extra explanations

The Art Of Nemo

A few hours ago I made a post on reddit claiming people who let AI generate stuff for them (say, most if not all the work) should not say they made it themselves and "used AI as a tool".
This guy went completely off rails, and offered a reply that's just a symbol of the decay of mental resources the average person has. No doubt AI has made him even worse.

For the record, they are jut strawmanning, I never in my sane mind said "just pick up a pencil" or "anyone can be an artist". Just making stuff up, that was not part of the discussion.

Some more #headdrawing demo and breakdowns from my Mentorship (link in Bio)

When drawing a face, don't forget the head is mostly bone. The older the subject, the more it's gonna show through. Bone protrusions also help understanding the rhythms of the face, together with muscle hints

Some Head Drawing construction demos.
It's important to always think about 3d forms when constructing the head, but also not lose track of rhythms that make a face come alive.
In these, I use a blend of methods I learned over the years. Watts + Reilly + Loomis + Box Method + my own interpretation

The Art Of Nemo

Hey!
I hope everyone is doing well.
I will be running a class with live feedback next month, for 8 weeks, centered around perspective and construction. If you think your drawings are flaky or just "suck" without a specific reason, chances are it's because the perspective, 3d feel and construction are off. This is the no1 killer of a potentially good drawing, so you have to fix it ASAP so you can focus on the fun stuff.

Only 8 seats available, reserve yours soon!

Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed the last stream, I had tons of fun catching up with you guys.
The next stream will be at 8.30PM Eastern time this sunday (which is 9:30am Monday here in japan). I already scheduled it, hopefully this time the link will follow through from restream lol. Make sure you click on the thumb in the LIVE section of the channel to get notified when it starts!

In preparation for that, do feel free to send me some box rotations you struggle with at nemo [at] theartofnemo [dot] com

I can't guarantee I will check ALL of them but I will definitely go over a few.

See you soon!
