We did it for another year folks...

3 months of Buddhist Lent completed.

We were up at 5:30am getting all the farm chores done as early as possible & cut extra goat fodder ready for tomorrow morning (just in case we're a bit worse for where!)

In true Porpeang Farm fashion we're going to party-on until we drop.
Darts, karaoke, great food & 'refreshments' are all on the agenda, including a toast to our dearest Brownie ❤️

Toon & myself would like to thank each & everyone of you that watch us, comment, like, share, send messages & emails, visit & call us (even when we don't always answer).

You're there for us in our hours of need when things go 'pearshaped' & our bottom lips start to drag on the floor.

Hopefully you enjoy sharing our highs when things go well to.

Sometimes it's hard to convey our appreciation to you guys through online platforms.

Please know that we are both deeply grateful to you all, even you querky ones 🤪

Because everyone deserves a fighting chance...

Introducing Wee Man, getting round the clock care from the farm team.

He's one half of twins born during the night. His brother had already passed after his mother rejected both of them.

Wee Man had almost shared the same fate by the time we found him early this morning.

Wet, cold and hungry (same as me at 6:30am), we soon got him warm and dry with a full belly.

He's now got a fighting chance.

Tommy takes our current successful kid goat births to 9.
He joins: Bruno, Johan, Skywalker, Waffle, Sausage, BooBee, Splash & Calami.
2 more nannies are due anytime, then there'll be a bit of a break before the next round.
The nonstop rain for the last 2 days makes things a tad challenging, but hey, it's more fun than growing sugarcane 😜
