dj poolboi is the moniker of Austin Texas’ born, Berlin based Adam Ansley. In 2017 Ansley started quietly releasing his unique version of house music raw in beauty, deep, calming, energizing and up lifting.
With a strong visual presence from his many music videos, poolboi has quickly amassed a large following online landing coveted gigs across North America opening for acts like Ross From Friends, DJ Seinfeld, Park Hye Jin, Chaos In the CBD and more.
Now with releases out on tastemaker labels Majestic Casual, Shall Not Fade the artist has seen international acclaim from outlets such as BBC Radio 1, KCRW, Complex and more. Doing his first touring internationally following the pandemic dj poolboi greeted sold out audiences in major markets like Berlin, LA, Paris and more.

I fell in love with fog lake’s music the first time I heard it. At the time I had been writing more piano and acoustic instrumentals and reached out to Aaron to work together. I wanted a break writing electronic focused music to maintain my creativity and sanity. The vocals and lyrics he wrote are both haunting and beautiful; coupled with his guitar and wonderful vocals melodies, it was a pleasure working with him, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
We also have an absolutely gorgeous music video for the song shot in pre war Ukraine and Poland directed by @nghtlou coming next week.
