Over the next 2 days I'll be uploading my entire playthrough of Modern Warfare all in glorious 4K HDR. There is a serious lack of HDR footage of games on Youtube, so I plan to be capturing a lot more as I play through them in the future.
First part should be going up in less than 15 minutes.
Note: If Youtube is forcing HDR for you and you don't have an HDR display, this is a bug currently in Firefox. Try Google Chrome or another browser.
Just wanted to let you know what's been happening. The next set of videos will be back to covering 2017, and honestly I had planned on releasing the first one by yesterday.
But I've been dealing with some health issues lately (that have been sporadically coming and going since the start of the year) that have been making it difficult for me to work on these videos.
The good news is that enough work has been done for the next set of videos that if all goes well, one should be releasing at the end of the week and the next one shortly after.
If my health stabilizes, the plan going forward is basically to release part 1 & part 2 videos on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Occasionally accompanied by special one-off videos in between when possible.
So the actual editing for the next video is done and it was in the process of being uploaded, but while reviewing the video I saw that there was some severe video glitching going on that has somehow occurred during the rendering process. I will have to re-render after figuring out why this was caused and will upload it shortly after.
Hopefully it should be up sometime later today. Sorry for the delay.
Update: So good news is I salvaged the at-risk data and put in a new HDD. The bad news is due to a mix of, the HDD stuff taking a while, this source/content for this next video requiring a much larger time investment in both sorting and editing than usual, and my health not exactly being too stable, the next video won't be ready for a few days at least.
I will make a post the day before letting all of you know when it is incoming.
