Alfredo is a goofy and loving tuxedo boy kitty. He was born on 05/22/17 and abandoned in a crate with his siblings in an alley. His foster mom cared for him until he was 9 months old. He had a rough start and still has health issues, namely seasonal asthma and luxating patellas. His asthma flares up with the pollen count and he gets laser treatments on his knees. acupuncture & hydrotherapy, which has kept him from having to get a surgery. In 08/21, I caught a young wild mouse born in the gas station restaurant where I was working. Spicey the mouse was a source of fascination for Alfredo and myself as she outlived the life expectancy of a wild mouse, surviving almost 4 years until 03/25. In 06/24, I got my 1st fancy mouse, Silvia! She was about 3 months old and has silver-colored fur. In 04/25 I got a pair of mice that were bred to be snake food. Cinna & Blanca complete the 3 Mouseketeers. Enjoy our videos!
Alfredo the Tuxie & the 3 Mouseketeers
On 3/25/25, Spicey, my wild mouse, passed away. I'm sure she's chewing on the rainbow bridge right now. She was about a month old when I captured her in the restaurant I was working at on 8/07/21, making her 3 & 3/4 years old. I believe I gave her the best life a wild mouse can have in captivity and she seemed as content as her domestic sibling, Silvia is. She taught me how to be a mouse mom and I will miss her and never forget her. Rest in peace, Sweet Spicey! 💔🙏😥

Alfredo the Tuxie & the 3 Mouseketeers
This is Spicey on 01/16/25. She was walking okay, although she is slower now that she's very old at over 3 & 1/2 years old. Two days later, on 01/18/25 I noticed she was struggling to walk and dragging her back legs. Today, my daughter came over and got her out of the aquarium to assess her. She's either suffering from bad arthritis or else had an injury to her hip, spine or legs. I've removed her wheel since she can't run on it and lowered her sock-enclosed ladder and her hammock, but I don't know if she's able to even climb up them. She's still eating and seems to have a strong will to live, but being a wild animal I'm sure she masks any pain she's in. I don't know what pain relief I can give her as she only weighs a few ounces. She's outlived my expectations, but it's still sad to see her struggling and possibly in pain. I took a video from tonight that I will upload in a day or so and give any updates on her as well.
